Announce what you ship, straight from Linear
Label an issue “announce”. When it moves to Done, Fuxux turns it into a post for X, LinkedIn, Bluesky, Threads, Facebook, Discord, Telegram and Slack, as a draft you check or a post that goes out on its own.
No card needed. Works on every plan.
Set up in four steps
- 1
Connect Linear
In Fuxux, open Auto-posting and choose Linear. Linear asks you to allow read access to your workspace.
- 2
Pick the accounts
Choose where finished work is announced, keep or change the "announce" label, and edit the post template.
- 3
Label the issue
Put "announce" on the issues worth telling people about: a feature, a fix customers asked for, a release.
- 4
Move it to Done
Fuxux turns the issue's title and description into a draft, ready to check and send. Or let it post on its own.
Fuxux asks Linear for read access only. It can’t create, change or delete anything in your workspace.
Your changelog, on every network
Draft first
By default each issue becomes a draft, so you can add an image or rewrite a line before it goes out. Switch to posting on its own when you trust it.
Only what you label
Nothing goes out unless the issue has your label (default "announce"). Internal work stays internal.
Your words, plain text
A template with {title}, {description}, {team}. Linear formatting like bold, links and checklists is turned into clean text.
Fits every network
One post per account, shortened on a word boundary when a network's limit is lower, like X's 280 characters.
No private links
The link to the Linear issue is never added to the post: only your team can open it.
Announced once
Reopening an issue and closing it again doesn't post it twice.
Linear FAQ
How do I post finished Linear issues to social media?
Connect Linear to Fuxux under Auto-posting, pick the accounts, and add the "announce" label to the issues you want to share. When one of them moves to a completed status like Done, Fuxux turns its title and description into a draft (or a post, if you choose that) on those accounts.
Which networks can a Linear issue be posted to?
X, LinkedIn, Bluesky, Threads, Facebook, Discord, Telegram and Slack. You pick the accounts once in Fuxux; every labelled issue goes to all of them. X is on paid plans, because X charges for every post.
What can Fuxux see in my Linear workspace?
Fuxux asks for read access only and can't create, change or delete anything in Linear. It reacts to issue updates Linear sends it, and uses the title, description, labels and team name of issues that move to a completed status with your label. You can remove Fuxux under Linear's settings at any time, or disconnect it in Fuxux.
Does the post include a link to the issue?
No. Linear issue links only open for your team, so Fuxux leaves them out. Add a link to your changelog or website in the template or in the draft instead.
What if I reopen an issue and close it again?
Nothing happens the second time. Each issue is announced once per connection, so a reopened and re-closed issue never becomes a second post.
Is it free?
Yes. Linear works on every plan, including the Free plan with no card. Drafts don't count toward a plan's posts; posts that go out count toward the Free plan's 5 published posts a month. Paid plans have unlimited posts.
