- Tips
- These are real Unicode characters, not a font file, so they work wherever plain text does: bios, posts, comments, usernames, chat.
- Some older devices show a rare style as boxes when the system font lacks that character.
- Screen readers may skip or misread styled text. Keep important information in normal text too.
Free font generator: fancy text you can copy and paste
A font generator does not change a font. It swaps each letter you type for a look-alike character from another part of Unicode: mathematical bold and italic letters, script and gothic alphabets, circled and squared letters, and so on. Because the result is ordinary text, it pastes into bios, posts, comments, usernames and chat apps without installing anything.
Type once above and copy any of the 19 styles: bold and italic for emphasis, cursive and gothic for display names, monospace for a technical look, circled or squared letters for short labels, strikethrough and underline for edits.
Use styled text as an accent. Screen readers often skip or misread these characters, and search inside most apps does not match them to the plain words they resemble, so anything people need to read or find should stay in normal letters.

FAQ
How does a font generator work?
It replaces each letter with a different Unicode character that looks like a styled version of it, such as a mathematical bold or script letter. The result is plain text, which is why it can be copied and pasted anywhere text is accepted.
Will the fancy text show correctly for everyone?
Almost always. These are standard characters that current phones and computers display. A few older devices show a rare style as empty boxes when their system font lacks that character.
Can I use these fonts in a username?
In a display name, usually yes. In a handle or username, usually no: most platforms only allow plain letters, numbers and a few symbols there.
Does styled text take more characters?
Often. Many styled letters take two characters of a platform's limit where a plain letter takes one, so text that fits in normal letters may be too long in bold or script.
Is anything I type saved?
No. The generator runs in your browser and nothing you type is sent anywhere.
